When I say I like being alone
It doesn’t mean I’m not lonely
It means I need space to think
I need time for myself
I need silence to help with the voices in my head
But it doesn’t mean I’m not lonely
Sometimes I’m given too much space
Sometimes I’m given too much time
Sometimes, there’s just too much silence
Sometimes, being alone is worse than being lonely
